The dietary law has a 'shadow' as does all the law. The shadow is something attached to the law which is not the law. Few have been able to make sense of the literal law. Some even claim that there are scientific errors. The literal is made plain as the hidden is revealed.{{:Flying things }}
The literal law, which Israel had to obey, was given to them as a script to the dinner theater. They would live the lines of the script so that their lives became the play, from which we could learn. ==Bugs and stuff=={{th}}|{{:Flying things on all fours}}|<refreferences/>Php 3|-|{{:17 ¶ Brethren, be followers together of me, Swarming and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.reproducing}}|<references/>|-|{{:Leaping}}|<references/>|-|{{:Good examples}}|<references/>|-|{{:Locust}}|<references/>|-|{{:Bald locust}}|<references/>|-|{{:Beetle}}|<references/ref> |-|{{:Grasshopper}}|<refreferences/>2Pe 2|-|{{:6 And turning The exchange}}|<references/>|-|{{:Carrying the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned [them] with an overthrow, making [them] an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;carcase}}|<references/ref>|-|}
Eating is a metaphor for learning. Adam named the animals based on their behavior [reputation]. <ref>Ge 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought [them] unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that [was] the name thereof.</ref> These behaviors and the word play from their names teach about learning: Who should we learn from, and who should we not learn from?
= =''Le 11:2 Speak unto the '''children of Israel''', saying, These [are] the beasts which '''ye shall eat''' among all the beasts that [are] on the earth.'':1. If you are not a child of Israel, the literal law does not apply to you. But if you are a spiritual child of Israel, then the spiritual meaning applies to you.::'''Israel''' ''Yisra’el'' ישׂראל - man יש joined by revelation ר to God אל . If you are spiritual Israel; joined to God by revelation, then you recognize 'eating' as a metaphor for 'learning'. This is the source for Paul's teaching that the wife (church) shall learn from her husband (Christ) <ref>1Ti 2:11 Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection.</ref>:2. If you are a child of Israel, you are commanded to eat these animals. There is no option. You cannot be a vegetarian. All arguments about pre-flood vegetarianism end here. But since there is no penalty for being a vegetarian, the command to eat these animals is an invitation to participate in the play. If you don't eat them, you are not one of the actors. For the spiritual child of Israel, the hidden teaching does apply.=On the hoof=''Le 11:3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, [and] cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.'':'''parteth''' ''perac'' פרס - divide in two <ref> 06536 ref. 06537</ref> Separation is a metaphor for 'Holy'.:'''clovenfooted''' ''shaca‘'' שׁסע - split <ref>08156</ref>:'''cheweth''' ''‘alah'' עלה - ascend, burnt offering <ref>05927 ref. 05928</ref> :'''cud''' ''garah'' גרה - contend, strive <ref>01625 ref. 01624</ref> :'''chewing the cud''' or 'ruminating' is a metaphor for meditating on the Creeping things you are (learned).:The animal is clean animal because it is a picture of Christ.::By way of allegory: he had a holy walk/life because he meditated on the Word of God. ::By way of exegesis: He had a holy life because he strove to be totally devoted (symbolized by the burnt offering hidden in 'chewed the cud').The teaching of the dinner theater is that you should learn from those people whose lives are changed through study of the Bible. == ==''Le 11:4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: [as] the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.'':'''camel''' ''gamal'' גמל - wean, recompense. The metaphor of the camel representing a judge comes from the word 'recompense'. <ref>Allegorically, the camel carries it's own water/word</ref> The judge can give you a reward, or a penalty, if you deserve it. The camel is unclean by the rules of the law. It does not have a Holy walk. This is a riddle: ::Those who judge will be judged. <ref>Mt 7:1 ¶ Judge not, that ye be not judged.</ref>::The judge must die as a symbol of judgement ending. Likewise the prophet dies in symbol meaning all prophecy is fulfilled.<ref>Re 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him [be] glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.</ref>:Lesson: We should not learn from those who judge other people. == ==''Le 11:5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.'':'''coney''' ''shaphan'' שׁפן - hide the treasure<ref>08227 ref. 08226</ref> The coney is unclean because he does not let his light shine. <ref>Mt 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.</ref>:He is also unclean because he also is a metaphor for a judge:::'''coney''' ''shaphan'' שׁפן - the mystery פ of the biting teeth שן . The mouth speaks the word of God, the teeth are biting, they are the law within the word.:Lesson: We should not learn from those who hide the treasured gospel of grace and instead only preach the condemnation of the law.== ==''Le 11:6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he [is] unclean unto you.'':The hare is called out by the rules, but it also had hidden meanings. ::'''hare''' ‘arnebeth ארנבת - house בת of divided א jubilation רנ. If you celebrate good and bad things, it is a sign of poor judgement.::'''NOTE''': Skeptics love to point out that rabbits do not technically chew the cud. They actually pass their food through a second time by eating their night droppings; they re-ingest. But the Bible does not say they chew the cud, but that they chew the ''gerah'' גרה which means 'pursue ג the revelation ר which was not understood ה'. The word means to pass through again to get more out of it, not to regurgitate. Some chew the gerah by regurgitation and some by re-ingestion.Lesson: Do not learn from people who use every excuse to party.
== =={{th}}''Le 11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he [is] unclean to you.'':The swine is called out for the opposite reason as the animals above: though it has a divided hoof it does not chew the cud. The metaphor is that it does not meditate on the word. In fact, the proverb makes it more clear by associating a pig with a gold jewel in it's snout with a woman without judgement <ref>Pr 11:22 ¶ [As] a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, [so is] a fair woman |Creeping things are those things which is without discretion.</ref>reproduce quickly. The pig things listed will eat anything, and the woman will learn anything.:'''swine''' ''chaziyr'' חזיר - perceive חז a new י revelation ר. When God said all be things that Adm had become like one of them to know good and evil <ref>Ge 3:22 ¶ And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:</ref>, the word for 'to know' is ''yada‘'' ידע , which also means 'to declare' <ref>03045 </ref>. By declaring good and evil for himself; the same as we do when we take decisions without conferring with God, he has usurped God's position as the one who defines good and evil. He has become a swine; hearing his own new revelation.::'''know''' ''yada‘'' ידע - the hand/works יד of the flesh ע .Lesson: Do does not learn from those who have no discernment of good and bad teaching, and who think they are OK by their own standard.== ==''Le 11:8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they [are] unclean want to you.'':'''carcasse''' ''nᵉbelah'' נבלה - folly <ref>05038 refspread. 05039</ref>:'''touch''' ''naga‘'' נגע - joined, plagued <ref>05060 ref. 05061 </ref>Lesson: Do not learn from their flesh, and don't be joined to or plagued by their folly.=Fish=Water is a metaphor for the Word of God. == ==''{{bgw| Le 11:9 ¶ 29-31 }} These shall ye eat of all that [are] in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.'':'''fins''' ''cᵉnappiyr '' סנפיר - 'horned, thorned סנ bull פיר . The fish moved through the water by it's fins. It lives in the word. What propels it? The bull, the sacrifice of Christ as the burnt offering, which was caught by it's horns in the thorns. Since he thorns represent the 'cares of the world' <ref>Mr 4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.</ref>, the thorned bull represents the love of God toward us. <ref>Joh 3:16 For God so loved [cared for] the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.</ref> The clean fish lives in the world by the love of God.:'''scales''' ''qasqeseth'' קשׂקשׂת - mail (as in armour) <ref>07193 </ref>. The one who lives in the word wears the full armor of God. <ref>Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.</ref> Paul's source for his doctrine came from the dietary law.:'''Waters, seas, and rivers''': When you have three things, without even looking deeper you can say 'of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost'. Since water is the word, these then are the word from the Father, Son and Holy Ghost.Lesson: Learn from those who live in the word of God; motivated by the sacrifice of Christ and who use the scripture to resist sin.== ==''Le 11:10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which [is] in the waters, they also [shall be] an abomination [detestable] unto you: Le 11:11 They shall be even an abomination unclean unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. If the teaching of the new creation through the Son of God, or of the cross gets tainted with folly, or if you folly leads you into treachery or blindness (not understanding) then the washing in water, or immersion in the word of God will cleanse it. The purpose of the law was to set Israel apart from the rest of the nations as a dinner theater. We would not learn the message of the play until the time of the cross. At the time,it preserved Israel as a people so that the rest of the play could finish and be revealed at the cross.
The play was done in three Acts, where each act had two sections and many scenes.
In Act I <ref>Genesis</ref>, The Father declares his purpose for the Son:It is not good that the man should be alone <ref>Ge 2:18 ¶ And the LORD God said, [It is] not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.</ref>. From the beginning, the bride (or church) was a gift to the Son from the Father. You are a gift from God, the Father to God the Son.
The Father showcases his Son: See my Son; yes there is trouble, but he has it covered. In the second section we see three Fathers <ref> Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob</ref> who testify in the earth. We say that because of their tie to the land through the promise made to Abraham <ref>Ge 12:7 And the LORD appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this land: and there builded he an altar unto the LORD, who appeared unto him.</ref> The bulk of the book is dedicated to the Son who is portrayed as the King of Kings second only to the Father. <ref>Ge 41:43 And he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he made him [ruler] over all the land of Egypt.</ref>
In Act II <ref>The History of Israel</ref>, The son tells about his love for his bride, but how she breaks his heart because she is a prostitute.
Act III <ref>The New Testament</ref> Is the declaration by the Spirit as the best man: "The bridegroom cometh" <ref>Mt 25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.</ref> and his report how Christ and his bride are fruitful <ref>Ga 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,...</ref> and multiplying <ref>Ac 2:47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.</ref>.
Through the lens of the cross, the mystery is now revealed.
