God's glory is not
The glory of God is not a bright light or a fire. Light is a symbol of God's holiness.[1]
His glory is not a rainbow, but the rainbow is a likeness or symbol of it. [2]
His glory is not a cloud. [3]
His glory
Sanctifies [4]
Has a face and back parts [5] The word back parts achowr אחור means the 'sorrowful brother' אח made clear ן in revelation ר . This is Christ, the man of sorrows!
The word face pani פני means "the prophecies פ of the Son of Man נ in creation י." Previously we discussed why God could not speak plainly to man, and hid his mystery in the prophetic riddles. This is the same teaching as to why Adam could not eat of the Tree of Life.
His glory IS
- Pr 25:2 ¶ [It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.
The glory of God is that he is the ultimate mystery writer. Yeah is sounds stupid, but consider:
He started his mystery in the meaning of the strokes of the Hebrew letters. He expanded upon it with the meaning of the Hebrew letters. It grew as he formed Hebrew words. He used those words to create the heavens and the earth which are themselves prophetic riddles and part of the mystery. He was intimately involved in the lives of the people so that certain historical things happened. He made sure those things were observed and recorded by various authors, and that the writings were collected and protected even though they appear to be nothing more than histories at times. And then he reveals his mystery in the great explosion of doctrine that happened right after the cross.
Movies often try to portray someone talking with God or an angel. They may have nice, or even insightful conversations. But at the end, you can take or leave what God says about himself.
The mechanism required for the mystery to exist and be revealed is the demonstration that he is who he says he is. He is the one and only God, the creator of the heavens and the earth.
